New Cyclone HDS Series Mixers with Double Flighted Augers

Roto–Mix announces their all new Cyclone HDS series vertical mixers with patent pending double flighted augers and an all new Hydraulic Drive System that results in superior totally mixed rations in less time. The Cyclone’s patent pending HDS Hydraulic Drive System reacts to keep the tractor operating at its most efficient engine speed regardless of auger loading and/or available tractor horsepower. When the tractor is running at 1,000 PTO RPM speed, the HDS takes over and manages the mixing load in relation to available tractor HP for the most optimum mixing rate. Double flighting on each of the twin augers have two pickup points rather than one which moves a lot more material with each revolution. Each pickup point has adjustable leading edges for maintaining top performance. Mixing feed becomes smooth running with little to no rocking at the higher clean-out RPM’s. Cyclone series mixers are equipped with a new wide 42 inch conveyor with heavy-duty chain and slats for faster feed out. The conveyer can be assembled for right or left hand discharge. Optional hydraulically controlled conveyor extension is available for feeding on the floor or in feed bunks. The new Cyclone HDS vertical mixers are available in three trailer models. The 1105 HDS has mixing capacity of 1100 cu. ft., the 1355 HDS capacity is 1,350 cu. ft. and the 1505 HDS capacity is 1,500 cu. ft.
